People of the Cascade Stereoscopic Club

The Cascade Stereoscopic Club is made up of many people from a wide variety of backgrounds, interests, and capabilities who are bonded together by their interest in 3D stereographic images.

Members meet once monthly at the 3D Center for Art and Photography. Those meetings are open to the public where all those interested are invited to attend.

Membership includes people who specialize in a range of activities from viewing traditional Holmes stereocards through projection of Phantograms. Some collect images, some make images. Some buy equipment to use, some make their own equipment. Some use traditional film technologies and some use digital capture of their images. There are few aspects of 3D photography that aren't explored or thought about by someone in this club.

This section of the website tells about some of these people including the club's officers, newsletter editor, and it's webmaster (me) -- all of whom work long hours as volunteers to advance the club's activities.

Some members also have their own websites, usually displaying their personal 3D interests. Links to those are provided here.

The club has an open to the public mailing list hosted by Yahoo where both club activities and club member activities are discussed in addition to general "3D photo talk".

If you are interested in joining, that information is provided in this section as well. Although membership is primarily near Portland, Oregon, USA, the CSC has had members come from all over the U.S. as well as from lands far away around the world.
